Conviasa (Venezuela) has resumed nonstop flights between Caracas and Tehran Imam Khomeini on 29 December 2024, re-establishing direct connectivity between Venezuela and Iran. The service is being operated using a widebody Airbus A340-600, which is well-suited for the long-haul intercontinental route.

AviLease, the Saudi Arabia-based aircraft leasing firm, has announced a major fleet acquisition plan with Airbus, placing firm orders for 10 A350F freighters and 30 A320neo Family aircraft.
