ITA Airways has announced a major expansion of its codeshare agreement with the Lufthansa Group, significantly enhancing connectivity to key intercontinental markets across Africa and Asia. The extended agreement, effective for travel from September 2, 2025, enables passengers of both airline groups to access a broader network of destinations via Rome Fiumicino, Frankfurt, Munich, and Brussels.
HelloJets, a Romanian charter and ACMI operator, has expanded its fleet with the delivery of one Boeing 737-800aircraft, acquired on lease. The aircraft, registered under serial number 33833, is powered by CFM56-7B27 engines and is expected to enhance the airline’s capacity for both charter and contracted wet lease operations across Europe and the Middle East.
CemAir (South Africa) has expanded its regional jet operations with the addition of a Bombardier CRJ900, serial number 15038, and announced that another aircraft, serial 15207, is set to join the fleet in the near future. China Southern has taken delivery of three Airbus A320neo family aircraft, including one A319neo (MSN 12495), one A320neo (MSN 12516), and one A321neo (MSN 12569). All three jets are powered by LEAP-series enginessupplied by CFM International, with the A319neo and A320neo using LEAP-1A26 engines and the A321neo equipped with LEAP-1A32 engines.
