Global Airlines has clarified that its only Airbus A380, registered 9H-GLOBL (MSN 120), is not heading into long-term storage, countering growing speculation following the aircraft’s relocation to Tarbes–Lourdes–Pyrénées Airport. Operated by Hi Fly, the double-decker aircraft had recently completed two roundtrip flights between Glasgow and New Yorkbefore being grounded.
German aerospace conversion specialist EFW has successfully redelivered two Airbus A330 Passenger-to-Freighter (A330P2F) aircraft from its conversion facility in Dresden. Both aircraft departed with US registrations and are set for operation with two distinct customers.
Stratos has delivered an Airbus A330-300P2F on a long-term operating lease to MNG Airlines, a Turkish cargo airline operating worldwide. The aircraft, MSN 1510, was converted into a freighter by EFW in Dresden, marking the second such conversion completed by Stratos at this facility.
