Ouranos Aircraft has signed an agreement with Sky Vision Airlines to deploy one Airbus A321 P2F (Passenger-to-Freighter) aircraft at Freedom Airline in Kenya for a one-year operational period. The aircraft will be based at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where it will serve as a key asset for cargo distribution between Africa, Europe, and the UAE.
Freedom Airline, based in Kenya, has entered into a 12-month wet lease agreement with Sky Vision Airlines of Egypt for the operation of a freighter-configured Airbus A321F, bearing serial number 1707. This strategic move enhances Freedom Airline’s cargo service capabilities amid rising demand for regional and intra-African freight transport.
Sky Vision Airlines (Egypt) has taken delivery of its first Airbus A321-200P2F (Passenger-to-Freighter) conversion, serial 1707, on lease from Juniper Aviation Investments (Singapore). This aircraft marks a significant milestone in the airline’s expansion into dedicated cargo operations, leveraging the efficiency and payload capabilities of the A321-200P2F.
Fly Vaayu, the United Arab Emirates’ dedicated narrow-body freighter airline, is set to expand its fleet by adding up to two more Airbus A320P2F aircraft in 2025. The first of these, an A321P2F, bearing serial number 2164, will join the airline in the coming months.
