Phoenix And AIP Close $300M PDP Facility For 30 B737-8s

Phoenix Aviation Capital (Ireland) and AIP Capital (US) have announced the closing of a Pre-Delivery Payment (PDP) financing facility to support Phoenix’s order of 30 Boeing 737-8 aircraft. The facility will provide up to US$300 million in total commitments and will be used to fund required down payments prior to aircraft delivery.

Batik Air Malaysia To Launch Kota Kinabalu–Seoul Route

Batik Air Malaysia has announced plans to commence nonstop service between Kota Kinabalu (BKI) and Seoul Incheon (ICN) beginning 12 September 2025. HAECO (Hong Kong) has announced a new maintenance partnership with SF Airlines (China) to conduct C-checkson the carrier’s fleet of Boeing 747 freighters (B747F). The checks will be carried out at HAECO’s state-of-the-art facilities in Hong Kong, further strengthening the MRO provider’s foothold in the cargo maintenance segment.
